The artist has been painting for more than 50 years. His first lifetime was spent on the Canadian Prairies and the Alberta Rockies. The California coast is now home. Travel broadens his scope. A recurring theme in his work is the glory and power of this planet and man's humble place here. The Hudson River School had it right.
